Model E5 Traffic Light Control

This module is a 3 channel variable speed, sequencer control for a standard 3 light traffic signal. It will cycle a light thru the standard (North American) sequence of GREEN - YELLOW - RED.

NOTES:

It is a basic timer control.
It is only intended to operate a single traffic light in a stand-alone mode.
It does not accept input from traffic sensors.
It does not control turn arrows, pedestrian walk lights. etc.

It uses all solid state circuitry; therefore it is both very efficient and highly reliable, since there are NO contacts or relays to stick, burn or wear out. It is very compact (only 2 x 4 inches) and easily fits into the case of all standard lights. This also makes it easy to mount the light outdoors as well since the light case will protect it from the weather.

    Each kit includes:
    1 control board
4 screws w/ nuts to mount it
4 nylon spacers to insulate it from the light case
1 wiring diagram and installation instructions

You will need to add a power cord to supply power to the light. If you don't already have one this can be as simple as buying a 9 foot, 2 wire extension cord (about a buck at most discount stores) and cutting the end off. All connections to the board are made with a screw terminal strip. Once the timer is installed and cord attached the light becomes completely self-contained and can be plugged in to any outlet just like a lamp. Whether you put it on a pole or chain it to the ceiling or or just hang it on a wall (like mine is) you'll be pleased.
