LIGHTS TO GO!
had it orgin in 1992 when a friend purchased 5 surplus
traffic lights. These lights were removed from service and had wires still
hanging out of them. I wanted to hang one in my basement rec-room, but
I also wanted it to light up. So the question arose was there any way to make these lights
sequence? Sure it could be done but... how how much would it cost?
Extensive searching yielded nothing in the way of practical solutions.
There were no off-the-shelf solutions.
One could buy several time delay relays and by wiring them together in a specific manner one
could cause one to trigger the next and so on. But these relays were typically $50 each
and making three of them and a rats-nest of wire fit neatly inside a light would be a challange.
With this I began work on a simple, reliable, compact and LOW COST design.
My first units were built in 1992 and installed in the 5 lights.
They exceeded all expectations. Soon people started asking how they could get one
for their lights, then for their friend's.
Word spread and soon I had to set up shop...
There are now hundreds in use across the US, from Maine to California .
I have also added sequencers for lights with turn arrows, timers for automated signs,
flashers for Rail Road crossing lights, School zone markers and Neon sign flashers.
Our latest product a Walk Light Control actually simulated a real Walk/ Don't Walk Light.
Note all products are designed and manufactured
in the USA. If you have a unique application just ask!
